About the position

Our portfolio of significant and technically complex offshore wind farms are increasing worldwide. The grid connection plays an important role and we are looking for an experienced and committed SCADA Grid Specialist for the Offshore Engineering department in one of the following locations: Vejle, Ballerup or Hamburg.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Grid specialist, you will be a main technical interface in relation to offshore projects during the sales and project execution phases, and you will be responsible for specific engineering tasks during the execution phase. More specifically, your assignments will cover:

Grid Code analysis.
Development/maintenance of Grid requirements test applications.
Park Pilot project support.
Grid Code Compliance field tests involvement on offshore projects.
Technical support to project and sales teams.
Revision and performing technical studies.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

You have a Master’s degree in electrical power engineering preferably combined with experience from the wind turbine business and/or grid developer/grid operator industries.

You have experience with one or more of the following simulation tools: Matlab/Simulink, PSS/E, DIgSILENT Power Factory,PSCAD/EMTDC or others similar.
You are self-driven, extrovert, analytical and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. At the same time, you are good at networking,
Excellent communication skills in English.
You are motivated by working in a strong technical and customer oriented environment.
You have performed studies in one or more of the following domains: steady state, dynamic and transient.

In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
