Ensure outstanding production and service of hearing aids We are looking for a talented and committed Group Manager to our Manufacturing Readiness team, which is a group within Service and Production Support (SPS). The focus of SPS is to help ensure that our subsidiaries and distributers are able to produce and service our various types of products within hearing aids. In SPS, Manufacturing Readiness, we work closely with R&D, define the requirements and develop service- and production concepts. These concepts are used internationally at sites which manufacture our products or which provides service of hearing instruments. Your assignments and responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating a team of 12 highly skilled employees “Manufacturing Release Management” - Accountable for the bi-annual product releases to custom production and service. Planning of internal activities to meet the product release objectives. Coordination with multiple internal and international teams and stakeholders Communication with production managers and colleagues world wide Supporting and driving a continued effort to improve the departments contributions Some travel activities must be expected. Typically 20-30 days per year. Who are you? We prefer you to hold a degree within electro acoustic engineering, mechanical engineering or production engineer. You have most likely gained your management experience within a technical field such as e.g. medico or telecommunication. You also have a broad understanding for IT and software. You thrive in a position with numerous international contacts, you are pragmatic and have a curious mindset that combines the ability to work with the technical details and leading a small team of specialists. In addition, you are motivated by achieving results through effective planning and execution. You also have a flexible mind set which allows you to easily accept changes in e.g. priorities and projects while being able to oversee a large variety of activities. We expect you to have the following qualifications and skills: Experience from an R&D or production environment Strong leadership skills and min 3 years management experience Wide technical understanding Experience with mechanical/electroacoustical products and processes Experience with medical devices will be an advantage Fluent in English (spoken and written) We expect you to be a team player and to take an active part in our team and help with the many different assignments and tasks we are involved in.
