Head of Analytics for accelerating use of data and analytics

Do you want to lead a high-performing analytics team and join us in the green transformation? 

Join us and become Head of Analytics in Data & Analytics where you’ll be responsible for developing and leading a newly established team of data scientists, quantitative developers and quantitative analysts. We engage with stakeholders across the group and the Customer Solutions business unit, in particular. We work with structuring and valuation of green solutions for customers, optimising our energy trading and risk management activities, and exploring data through analytics and modelling to innovate new products.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• lead and inspire a large team of highly skilled analysts by consistently expanding the collective thinking and doing of the organisation
• drive the analytics strategy by identifying themes and business cases that deliver incremental value to the group and our customers
• ensure a top-notch theoretical and practical level within data science and quantitative analytics to be able to push the boundaries of solutions and products
• actively engage in analytics networks across the group and externally
• communicate directly with senior management to secure clear prioritisation of the analytics agenda.

 

Your competences include that you

• have a master’s or PhD level degree in economics, engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar
• have many years of experience in applying quantitative and advanced analytics, including derivative pricing, machine learning and optimisation algorithms to large-scale business problems
• are a strong leader of others that empowers followers and builds new leaders
• have extensive experience with leading teams of strong, numerical specialists
• are able to navigate seamlessly in a multi-stakeholder environment and build trust upwards, downwards and sideways in the organisation.
   

Furthermore, you’re a curious listener, with a strong inner motivation to influence others. You’re on top of the latest developments within industry and academia on numerical topics as well as innovation, design thinking and change management. Experience from the energy or financial sector is an advantage.
