The Applications and Operations team consists of 19 highly skilled consultants and experts based in headquarter supported by resources in both Chennai and Manila. Key Responsibilities You are overall responsible for the daily delivery of application and operations services supported by your team leads including the Head of operations. An important challenge will be to take the Applications team to the next level in terms of not only delivering as a professional business partner but becoming a performance partner driving the co-creation of value with colleagues across Maersk Drilling and business partners when possible, i.e. taking the initiative to inspire and do improvements on an equal basis. You are responsible for developing and executing Application service strategy and supporting the head of operations regarding operations strategy. Reporting to the CIO you will play a key role in the global IT Management team and share the responsibility for driving our major IT enabled transformations in Maersk Drilling. You will act as sponsor or steering committee members of several projects and be part of the senior management team in Maersk Drilling IT. Who we are looking for You have extensive business consulting experience within ERP and preferably have been leading teams of business consultants. You are a proven change leader with strong people management skills. Experience with leading ERP service organizations is a clear advantage but not a requirement. Being a strong communicator you are able to develop and communicate strategies, plans and business cases convincingly at senior management level and have a structured approach to stakeholder management. Based on your business acumen and IT applications insight you are perceived value adding when engaging in business development dialogue with management peers around business and are also able to take a driving role in the co-creation of value adding solutions to our customers. On a personal level you are result oriented with a high sense of urgency. You are a natural collaborator with a high commitment to execution and outstanding delivery.
