You will join LEO Pharma in very exciting period of time as we are transforming the business to become the world’s preferred dermatology partner. We have a very promising product pipeline but when entering new markets we need to strengthen our overall market insights. And that is why we need you!
Lead high quality insights processes to support business decisions for EU+
As Business Insights Manager EU+ your overall focus is to ensure that our brand strategies are built on robust and strong stakeholder insights – stakeholders are patients and Health Care Professionals (HCPs). You will do so by heading insights generation across the markets in EU as well as Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Provide key stakeholder insights in brand strategy process & commercial planning
- Ensure the use of market insights in key business decision making
- Provide the methodology for insights based business decisions
- Optimize the use of data and market research across the region EU+
- Design and/or optimise insights tools and systems
- Lead cross-market and cross-organisational primary and secondary market research projects
- Support affiliate led insights projects – alignment, best practice sharing etc.
- Establish and lead an lnsights Group at cluster level – knowledge sharing and best practices
- Build a systematic process for integrating market research/insights into brand strategy and commercial planning
- Facilitate/lead annual situational analysis process
- Lead insights workshops to support brand and commercial teams
You will have no direct reports but work closely together with insights colleagues in the locally based affiliates and colleagues in the main business units and brand teams. You can look forward to travel 40-50 days per year to meet colleagues and peers across the international organisation.
+5 years’ business insights experience from the pharma/biotech industry
You have a university degree within business, engineering, science or the like. This is backed by at least 5 years’ experience from working hands-on with business intelligence and market research in the pharma/biotech industry. You are used to work cross-functionally and with third party suppliers.
As research professional you naturally have strong analytical skills including the ability to turning huge amounts of data into recommendations with a clearly defined commercial angle. Additionally, you have the communications skills and intercultural understanding it takes to make people understand and prioritise your agenda and recommendations – in a fast paced and complex stakeholder landscape with multiple agendas. As you will lead projects, you must have solid project management skills including the ability to navigate safely.
Your new team
You will join 9 skilled and dedicated colleagues in Commercial Excellence (Region EU+). We are based at different offices in the region. As you will work especially closely together with the topical and bio-dermatology business units and the global market research team based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup (Greater Copenhagen), you will be based in Ballerup as well.
