Job ID: 163470 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time For our Offshore Project Management Excellence department, we are looking for a goal oriented manager who can drive and ensure ownership and maintenance of World class Standards related to the construction activities for Offshore projects. What are my responsibilities: As the head of construction support, you must ensure visibility and communication of activities with relevant stakeholders. Moreover, your responsibilities will cover: • Drive the strategy for world class Offshore construction standards • Manage and maintain a complete overview of current and planned activities within the team • Directly drive the development of specialist teams and related performance through team leads in the areas of lifting operations and control of hazardous Energies • Ensure performance of suppliers to the team • Develop and maintain a high level of structure for Offshore standards • Provide a controlled environment for testing and verification of improvement options prior to full introduction and update of standards • Drive continuous compliance to standards What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a strong technical background and Offshore project and/or site execution experience. You are described as being a very results oriented perfectionist with a huge proactive drive. You are motivated by professionalism and structure and enjoy managing people like yourself – experts within the construction area. You are able to communicate constructively with all types of people from Site personnel to CEO’s. You are capable of challenging the organization and regions if the requested changes do not bring added value. Using your interpersonal and excellent communication skills you manage to gain stakeholder buy-in on all levels in an international environment – without compromising on the standards. You are, of course, fluent in English both orally and in writing. Finally, you handle various IT tools with ease. If you have acquired your skills in alternative ways, your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
