We are looking for an experienced Global IT leader to run development on some of the most critical components in Trading Technology part of Wholesales Banking.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to lead a future department of around 20 people. It will be organized into 3 software teams running Customer information, instrument static data, our next generation grid compute project as well as a mature enterprise message bus offering.
Working with skilled, international teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll play a part in making us truly digital. We all have a role in building the best bank that serves our customers’ changing needs – through innovative solutions, collaboration and partnering with fintechs. Your future responsibilities
You’ll join Core Services we are in flight with a major business and IT transformation in Nordea. In Core Services we build and offer foundational building blocks in the banks transformation. Our users are hundreds of application teams that need data, or transport of data. Our systems are required to be highly scalable, reactive and capable and operate with millions of deals and terabytes of data. They use thousands of grid cores and produce billions of records.
What you'll be doing:
- You will spend considerable time promoting the right thing as well as liaising with business owners and the greater IT organization.
- We like working agile in small teams with a close relationship to business. You will also have a lot of stakeholders within IT especially with Core Services teams providing foundational components.
- Last, but not least, you will secure stable daily operations of systems and actively manage the major technology and the skills transformation needed to take us to the future architecture.
