In this highly profiled role you will be responsible for driving the implementation of a new operating model for Vestas' service organisation including the operational embedment of a globally standardised and fully digital way of working. You will be leading a team of global specialists and your responsibility will be to ensure that genuine collaboration is built across the wider service organisation - through effective stakeholder management and sustainable global solution implementations.

Digital Transformation in BU Service is responsible for driving the implementation of a globally standardised, industrialised and fully digitalised operating model. This includes harvesting all the benefits of new technology to increase revenues, drive down cost and - together with Utopus Insights - bring to market new energy management software solutions in response to rapidly changing energy sector demands. The function leads all internal digital programmes to streamline and improve operations, as well as orchestrating the creation of a world-leading ecosystem of digital products, services and channels - thereby helping our customers extract more value of their sustainable energy investments, across the full value chain, and for the full lifetime of their investments.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving implementation of a new operating model for the service organisation including the operational embedment of a globally standardised, and fully digital, way of working. Key responsibilities include:

BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT - Lead a team of global "business model & end-to-end process specialists" to:

1. Scope and drive improvement initiatives and projects which deliver a new operating model aligned to the Service Strategy
2. Ensure the management system reflects up-to-date global processes and instructions
3. Support the ISO audit process; and 4/ Consultancy and modelling for interfacing and/or integrating new business models, e.g. post-merger-integration of corporate acquisitions, conversion to a globally standardised all-brand operating model

MASTER DATA GOVERNANCE - Lead the specialists responsible for driving continuous improvement for Service MD objects and Vestas Customer MD. Ensure data quality metrics are maintained, RCCM performed and deliver to corporate Vestas MD governance initiatives.

DIGITAL PRODUCT OWNERSHIP - ensure proactive continuous development of supporting IT tools and training materials used in Service processes; User Role criteria definition and escalation handling; and work alongside Global IT to integrate routine platform upgrades and impact analysis for Service users.

PROGRAMME DIRECTOR & STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBER - Design and actively drive the roadmap for implementation of the new Service operating model and digital transformation - either through setting the frame as Programme Director in strategic programmes, and/or a voting seat in steering committees for associated projects and programmes.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT - Experience leading change in both commercial and operational processes is a pre-requisite, with an ability to see strategically and implement operationally. This role requires someone with the skill to scope large strategic change projects and motivate teams across Service to be a part of the change journey.

In addition, you are to ensure genuine collaboration is built across the wider service organisation - through effective stakeholder management and sustainable global solution implementations.

You will develop your team through coaching and structured development plans. And ensure a solid pipeline of strong talent is retained in Vestas. Current team is 10 FTE's placed in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Malmö and Szczecin.

Qualifications

The right candidate has worked in a similar role, and/or as an Executive Management Consultant.

Holds a Master-degree or similar, relevant to the position.

We expect you have:

• Extensive experience co-creating and implementing a global industrialised operating model, either in commercial or operational units in a comparable company/industry, and either as a line-responsible or as a corporate change agent
• Managed large, global, culturally complex change programmes, with multiple stakeholder groups at all organisational levels
• Experience leading business process and system implementations globally
• Experience working internationally in large international corporation
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with digital transformation, both in relation to development, implementation, organisational transformation and hand-off to operations
• Worked with Service Sales and/or Service Operations in an engineering industry
• Deep analytical and financial understanding to drive business case creation and follow-up

Additional information

Primary location Aarhus or Copenhagen (Denmark), or Hamburg (Germany).

Travel to be expected, approx. 40 days per year, presumably more during first year in the position.
