Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to influence not only logistics processes and tools, but also daily operations, implementation of future supply chain production and outbound logistics planning. You can look forward to exciting career opportunities within the global Danfoss organisation. The position entails approx. 20-30 travel days per year. World-class production planning and cross-organisational cooperation Your role will be to drive world-class production planning to ensure a fast, responsive, and flexible set-up supporting our differentiated customer requirements. In cooperation with a network team across all Cooling factories, you will lead and secure innovative and inspiring methods to ensure best practice production and outbound logistics by benchmarking to other Danfoss divisions and external factories. As the Head of Global Production & Outbound Planning, your overall mission will be to drive the overall global roadmap for all Cooling factories and lead projects to secure “end to end supply chain” execution in our supply chain. Furthermore, your responsibilities will be to: •Develop a global strategic and tactical set-up and ensure effective implementation •Ensure that strategy and policies are in alignment with the overall Cooling strategy •Drive cost optimisation and inventory management •Lead and participate in both local and global projects •Work across functions with stakeholders in Danfoss, e.g. Sales, Product Management, RD&E and all relevant SC functions Leadership skills, strong analytical ability and hands-on attitude You hold a relevant degree, e.g. a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within logistics, supply chain or engineering, backed up by some years of working experience from a function within logistics. Furthermore, you have experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), and are familiar with production planning, inventory management, supplier development, and customer support. You have a natural approach to management, but with your hands-on attitude, you also participate in the daily work. In addition, you possess a high entrepreneurial spirit, which enables you to engage in the development of processes and establishment of future strategies for Supply Chain Operations. You are a strong communicator, and you excel in maintaining strong relationships at every level – internally as well as globally. Last but not least, you are proficient in English.
