Siemens Wind Power’s service business is growing and we are intensifying our off shore activities. We are therefore searching for a Head of Global Resource Management to be responsible for the pool of global service technicians in Denmark as well as developing and implementing the resource management strategy globally. What are my responsibilities? Leading the team of global service technicians (via team leads) and administrators Ensuring the development of the team and introducing Zero Harm and Zero Defect culture Having the overview of the demand for service activities globally and support resource needs of regional operation teams Ownership, development, and standardization of the resource management processes globally Forecasting of the long-term resource needs and developing and implementing the resource strategy accordingly Coordinating the resource needs globally Ensure utilization of the resources What do I need to qualify for this job? You have substantial people management responsibilities of blue collars and white collars (10+ years). You preferably have a technical educational background. Construction, project and site execution experience would be an advantage. You are familiar with the Danish Working Environment Act and preferably the British Health and Safety at Work Act. You are service minded and work concentrated and independently towards achieving your goals. As such you demonstrate a can-do attitude. You look at things from the global and strategic perspective. You are an effective communicator with excellent English skills orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
