Interested in a high profile IT leadership position within a growth oriented business unit in Siemens? Global Services IT is searching for an experienced IT Key Account Manager lead for the Power Generation Services Wind Power (PS WP) business unit. This position has global responsibility for all IT at PS WP locations worldwide, with special focus on headquarters locations in Brande Denmark, Hamburg Germany, Newcastle UK, and Orlando/Houston US. Position could be located in Brande or Hamburg. In this role you will be responsible for managing an IT-oriented business relationship globally and act as an interface between the business and IT delivery units. Through your efforts it is expected that all existing IT systems in use by the business are operating effectively and that cost for delivery of IT systems to the business meet the approved budget. Furthermore, it is expected that new IT capabilities and systems are defined in an IT project portfolio that is approved by the business and that projects are executed according to the project timeline and budget as approved by the business. You will ensure that IT service issues are escalated to the appropriate delivery organization for prompt resolution and change requests are reviewed and approved by the business thru the demand management process and executed on a timely basis thru the appropriate delivery organization. What are my responsibilities? · Effectively manage the relationship with the PS WP business unit and serve as the interface between the business and Centers of Expertise on a global level · Develop business unit IT strategy and budget according to business strategy aligning with IT governance and impacted CoEs · Manage business demand for all IT products and services within the IT portfolio (including infrastructure) · Ensure that services provided by the CoEs are aligned with business demands while fostering synergies & reuse of existing/planned services · Oversee the delivery of IT services and applications with business or location specific scope and low synergy potential · Manage a customer facing function that ensures efficient and effective use of IT services resulting in overall customer satisfaction and user productivity improvements What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in IT, Computer Science or related field combined with minimum 5 years of account management experience in an international setting · Extensive experience working with SAP, Web applications, or equivalent · PM (at) Siemens and IT PM Methodology · Change Management experience and proven ability to actively engage in influencing others and to get others to support initiatives and build partnerships · Leadership skills to; focus, align and build effective intercultural groups across functions and organizations · As a person you achieve results that stand out in the external market and go beyond established targets and drive towards higher, best in class goals · Willingness to travel up to 40%, depending on home base location In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
