We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to be responsible for leading and managing a team of production engineers, ensure products are manufactured safely, at the right quality and at a competitive cost level. What are my responsibilities? · Primary internal contacts are with entire organization through daily contact and problem-solving oriented team meetings · Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws · Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems · Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with polices and legal regulations · Updates job knowledge by remaining current on standards and requirements; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations · Understands the methodology of applying learning metrics and analytics to measure the impact of learning solutions · Creates department performance indicators and follows up on individuals performance · Towers responsible for NPI and PDP process as well as the execution of same · Create, implement and maintain work instructions for Tower assembly · Ensure correct implementation of Engineering changes · Technical assessment of new Tower suppliers and support in ramping-up new suppliers · Drive cost out activities related to Tower manufacturing What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have 5+ years experience with manufacturing processes, understanding engineered specs / drawings and product data management within related industry · You are able to understand customer needs, good communication skills and results orientated · You can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities · You have solid leadership skills and are able to lead and manage a team of professionals as well as able to attract good talent · You have great communication skills and have great English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
