Key Responsibilities You will be based in Esbjerg, Denmark where you will lead a team of 25+ working on implementing and executing the global and local procurement strategy within the DBU. In addition, you will provide and maintain governance structure on all procurement activities. You will serve as a strong business partner to the organisation by setting a framework that is characterised by ensuring quality and on-time deliveries, efficiency and transparency. You are doing this through strong collaboration within the organisation, active relationship management and performance evaluation with vendors while creating an engaging and motivating work environment within your team. Furthermore, you ensure compliance with applicable laws, procurement regulations and internal procedures or guidelines. You will drive the planning of execution of Framework Agreements and support efficiency within procurement processes. In this position, you will play a key role towards our external and internal stakeholders such as Joint Venture partners, the local vendor community and the wider Maersk procurement organisation. You will be part of the Finance and Business Support Leadership Team in the Danish Business Unit, reporting to the Head of FBS. In addition to this, you will have a functional line to the Maersk Oil Chief Procurement Officer based in the headquarters in Who we are looking for The ideal candidate has a strong customer focus with the ability to influence and drive change through collaboration. As such, you are an excellent communicator who thrives on engagement, and you are able to build key relationships. At the same time, you are able to set the direction toward creating a culture of value creation and cost awareness. Furthermore, you have a university degree focused on Supply Change Management or similar, and experience from the Oil and Gas Industry is a huge advantage. You have gained several years of procurement experience from an international environment within a management role, and, in your previous roles, you were used to managing projects, have experience with change management and a proven track record of achieving results.
