Become a part of Global Supply Chain in KamstrupIn this position, you become a part of the production of the future which includes expansion of new production and massive investments in new products and production facilities. You will lead Production Technology that always works to assure that the frames for Kamstrup’s production is future-proof. You and your team generally works to grow output by building new factories and production lines as well as developing agile methods, structures and processes to complete an optimal production within intelligent energy and water meters.

As Head of Production Technology, you will get the general responsibility for departments that work with NPI, Processes, Products incl. Maintenance and PMO that takes care of project management on the capex projects. Furthermore, you will get ad hoc tasks in relation to Kamstrup’s newly established factory in the USA. The professional environment is great and there is an informal tone of communication.

A job that focuses on leadership and development of productsWith reference to Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain, you will be responsible for ensuring that Kamstrup’s capex projects are implemented successfully.In relation to this, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Set up and run in new factories• Ensure an efficient process for handover to the operation team• Ensure production of new products• Ensure the right partnerships with suppliers of technology• Construct cross border of teams• Ensure the right balance between automatization and technological durability• Report to the management continuously • Develop new concepts for the production and processes as well as optimizing process capability • Run lean projects across Supply Chain• Run Supply Chain Manufacturing Execution System across the factories• Make sure that the processes have the right mix between structure and agility • Leadership, inspiration and follow-up on your organization• Various administrative leadership tasks, for instance handling of appraisal interviews 

Personality mattersWe are looking for a talented leader with ambitions and a personal drive. You have an education as production engineer, electronics engineer, machine engineer or similar which enables you to succeed in the job. In addition, we expect that you have minimum 10 years of experience within the field as well as experience with leadership of automatization projects and establishment of factories. It is a requirement that you have experience with “ramp up” and have been responsible for several “green field operations”.

As a person, you are open, outgoing and good at communicating with different professional groups. You have great skills within leadership which is expressed in your powerful and determined appearance. Moreover, you are structured, positive by nature and take a pride in keeping an eye out for your employees. You are analytical and have a good understanding of finance.

It is a requirement that you master written and oral English. It is fine if you also speak some Danish. You can expect up to 50 travel days a year.
