Head of Public Affairs Visionary Public Affairs leader with an international outlook to build and deepen political support for biological solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges. Qualifications - Strong track record in international opinion building and political relations - 10+ years of public affairs work in an international context - Leadership experience from a commercial company combined with experience from a political environment, or as external advisor - Proven ability to build high-level relations and act as company representative - Leadership experience with international teams and high-level professionals - Broad experience with media relations, financial communication, issues and crisis management - Excellent communication skills in English - Master’s degree in political science, business administration or other relevant background Challenges You will lead our corporate Public Affairs team based in Bagsværd and our team based in Brussels, and you will guide and support teams based in Beijing, Washington, D.C., Brasilia and New Delhi. You will drive a portfolio of multi-disciplinary public affairs programs to impact public awareness and political decisions, while ensuring compliance with standards for transparency and ethics in lobbying activities. The work will include: - Devise and implement global public affairs plans in support of selected business areas - Build relations to policy makers, industry associations, international organizations and NGOs - Represent Novozymes in selected forums such as industry associations and multi-stakeholder alliances - Advise Novozymes’ management on policy issues and advocacy strategy - Craft relevant documents, statements, speeches, etc. You will contribute to integrated communications programs as a member of Novozymes’ leadership team for Global Communications & Public Affairs. You will report to Head of Global Communication & Public Affairs and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our stakeholder relations.
