As the Head of Shared Services, we offer you an opportunity to leverage your skills and experience by: • Building a Shared Services delivery model fit for Maersk Oil • Managing the migration of activities, putting governance, process and standardisation in place • Embedding end-to-end processes and process ownership • Influencing and managing key stakeholder across the board from Group Shares Services to Maersk Oil Business Unit Managing Directors, Functional Heads and Global Process Owners to external partners • Being the focal point for the shared services function for Maersk Oil, where the number of direct reports will increase in line with the growth of the use of shared services Key Responsibilities Your key responsibilities in this role will include: • Partner with senior stakeholders within Maersk Oil and Maersk Group to identify opportunities for, and build buy-in for, the offshoring of activity across the global business (to captive service centers and/ or an outsourcing partner) • Defining an effective, sustainable and scalable delivery model for Maersk Oil offshored activity to deliver defined scope • Responsible for the approach for – and governance of - migration of offshored activities and the roles of functions and BUs in executing the migration of these activities • Lead the transition of activity, balancing pace of transition with management of risk and change • Migration to shared services and/ or outsourcing partner and the performance of ongoing delivery of services • Building capability, upskilling and enhancing capabilities and performance across migration to shared services and working with offshored centers • Owning the business case for consolidating, upgrading or implementing major new systems in support of shared services operations • Manage the commercial relationship with Maersk Group shared services centers and/or outsourcing partners Who we are looking for • You hold a relevant master degree and have extensive experience (10 years plus) of defining and leading the transition of activities to an offshore environment, (either captive shared service centre or to an outsourcing partner) • You have a track record of delivering strategic-level changes. Able to generate commitment to change across broad group of stakeholders and deliver against multi-year plan • You have strong influencing skills and build rapport easily, able to influence a range of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders • You have proven leadership skills in managing global teams and experience of leading multi-workstream and change management projects. • You have the ability to operate both at the strategic and, where required, detailed level. • You have a strong level of general business acumen, and think conceptually and identifies and addresses future challenges and opportunities, often in an ambiguous environment • You are a self-starter and have an affinity for technology’s ability to drive efficiencies and enhance service delivery.
