The Support Services manager is responsible to provide administrative and organizational governance for the Production Assurance organization with Group Functions IT at Nordea. The position reports directly to the head of the Production Assurance organization and manage a small team of support specialists. The position we offer Group Functions IT is a dynamic and core IT division within Nordea and is responsible for the development, maintenance and operations of all IT applications in Group Functions. Group Functions IT manages the enterprise Data Warehouse, Data quality and management, regulatory and business reporting, and IT for Finance and HR. Production Assurance is a newly formed organization within Group Functions IT and is accountable for the Change Management processes (Change, Release, Configuration management), Quality Assurance, and Production Services. Production Assurance was created to enhance production stability and availability, improve process standardization and augment governance and control. The Support Services Manager is responsible for all core administrative, PMO and control functions for the Production Assurance organization. The Support Services Manager will operate as the “business manager/chief of staff” and drive the organizational and administrative agenda on a day to day basis and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities: •Provide governance and administrative control over departmental HR and Finance activities. •Ensure administrative compliance with all requirements across organization •Operate as central governance point for organization •Manage Production Assurance’s contractual engagements •Operate cross functional “PMO” to track and report on progress of organizational objectives •Establish a central control capability to manage organizational risk, control governance and process adherence •Create a centralized measurement and reporting capability to provide and govern management and performance reports •Drive administrative policies and practices Support Services is responsible for the supporting services across the engagement focusing on business management, program management, risk and control, performance management and continuous improvement. This service is a thin wrapper function to ensure consistency and accountability across all functions and may have resources across both on-shore and/or off-shore locations. This is a high impact role and will require the right candidate to have high levels of passion and drive.
