In TORM, we all work together as One TORM to become the Reference Company in the product tanker industry. If you want to become one of us, we are looking for a dedicated colleague, who is ready to join our HSE Team in Copenhagen.   

What we can offer 

The right candidate will join a skilled team and together you will be responsible for monitoring and facilitating marine operation of all vessels, and provide the required nautical, safety and environmental support, in order to achieve the desired levels of safe performance.  

As an HSE Manager in TORM, your tasks and responsibilities are:   

• To be an ambassador for the “One TORM Safety Culture – Driving Resilience Program” and provide support and guidance to the colleagues on board   
• To ensure onboard implementation of the Company’s Safety Management System and thereby achieve overall safety, environmental and quality assurance of your allocated vessels 
• To liaise with external parties e.g. Classification Societies and Flag States as and when required 
• Taking a lead in incident investigation and report submission 
• To support the performance leadership program on assigned vessels 
• To provide in-house training 
• Travel activity in connection with vessel visits  
• To run ad-hoc projects in the HSSE team as and when required

• Minimum five years of sailing experience as marine officer or two years as a senior officer on board a tanker vessel 
• Shore-based experience as marine, vetting or HSE superintendent
• Familiar with all relevant ISM and ISO standards and codes 
• Fluent in both spoken and written English  
• Detail-oriented, analytical and confident with the ability to work in a team and independently
