The Danish agricultural company, Greenpeas is looking for a horticultural/agricultural engineer to take care of the production of fresh hand-picked peas in Portugal.
The horticultural/agricultural engineer will be responsible for the subsidiary company and the production in Portugal in coordination with the main company in Denmark and the productions in other European countries.
The horticultural/agricultural engineer will be responsible for
- Planning of production and the cultivation processes
- Contracting with the farmers
- Management of the cultivation processes
- Management of the harvesting processes
- Management of the post-harvest handling and packing processes
- Company management
- Project management
- Business and concept development
- Research and development
Special knowledge in pea production is not needed – but you have to have the needed theoretical and practical background - and to be an easy learner.
You will have the needed training and support until you are able to handle fully on your own. The training will partly take place in Denmark.
