Hosting Service Delivery Manager for Cloud and Datacentre Infrastructures

Carlsberg Global Business Services is offering a newly established role after the transformation to Cloud solutions for a Hosting Service Delivery Manager (SDM) with the responsibility for the continuity and stable infrastructure within the IT hosting area, where two major 3rd party service provider provides most services. 

The role will support, monitor and coordinate the service delivery within the IT Hosting area (Cloud, Datacentres, Local Data Rooms) to enable high quality service delivery to users and ensure 3rd party provider service processes are in place to meet Carlsberg business needs.

 

Your new job

Your will be a strong driver in ensuring “Excellence” in the IT hosting services. Your challenges are that you will have to deliver this through others, and you will have to balance between a certain technical insight and keeping an overview across a range of different services and solutions. You will act as the main link between the business and the 3rd party provider, ensuring that the needed requirements are defined, incidents investigated, risks are handled, and that the main elements of the outsourcing contract / SLAs are delivered. Your primary tasks are to : 

• Ensure that Hosting services are delivered to the highest possible standard with a clear focus on business satisfaction,
• Prioritise, coordinate and support incidents, problems and review changes to avoid production disturbances or lowering of service levels,
• Recommend service improvements and propose ways of optimizing the infrastructure both from a process and cost point of view,
• Ensure Lifecycle, Capacity and Availability management processes are in place and driven by vendors,
• Manage 3rd party vendor operational governance, including vendor management and reporting on Delivery & Obligations,
• Manage run cost for all hosting services and provide cost transparency to functional towers and disciplines.

 

You will report directly to the Director of Hosting Discipline and work out of the HQ in Copenhagen or a Carlsberg business location in WE. You should expect 10-20 travel days yearly, primarily to Europe and India.

 

Your Profile

We expect you to have a minimum 5-7 years working experience in IT Service Delivery Management, ideally focusing on infrastructure technologies. You have sufficient technical insight to be able to challenge your surroundings in their requirements and solutions. In order to understand issues from both sides of the table, you have experience in outsourced IT environments and service provider management, where contract management and SLAs are natural parts of your job. Most likely, you have previously had or now have a role as SDM in IT area. 

As a person, you present yourself as solution oriented, with focus on creating win-win with your partners and colleagues. You communicate, inform and seek to optimise processes and solutions via collaboration and delegation, without missing the overview or focus. When needed, you show personal power and are able to positively influence your surroundings. Even when pressured, you stay cool, structured and are able to prioritise your tasks. You are fluent in English, and demonstrate a good cross-cultural empathy and understanding of different motivational drivers.
