Are you looking for new challenges within HR and want to help us shape a better world?

Arup is a global firm of engineers, consultants, designers, planners and technicians offering a broad range of professional services within the buildings industry. We are looking for an exceptional HR Administrator to support the day to day operations of the HR functions and duties. This is an exciting position, providing generalist HR and administrative support to the Danish office. You would become part of the Business Services team in Denmark, with 6 people, and a member of the Europe HR Network, with 32 staff across all Europe.

 

Your responsibilities

You will manage HR processes from start to end, such as recruitment, employee onboarding, employee benefits, etc.; as well as support the HR Manager and the Business Support team with different tasks such as the management of temporary assignees coming to the office, organization of office events, payroll assistance, supervising the completion of mandatory trainings, and others.

 

Your personal and professional competences

You are flexible and you are a team player who enjoys working in a vibrant international environment. You are keen on taking on responsibility, and you meet the following requirements:

• A master’s degree (or equivalent if studied abroad) with excellent results in HR, Business Administration or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience working in HR in Denmark
• Knowledge about Danish labor and tax law and regulations
• Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment
• Knowledge of all MS office applications
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communications skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Fluency in Danish is a plus
• You are flexible and dedicated, and ready to help in other administration task when required
• You are able to work in different projects at the same time knowing how to prioritize
• Understanding the confidentially needed to work in HR and dealing with personal data

Arup´s Danish office opened in 2012, working on the Cityringen Metro in Copenhagen. You will be joining a growing office of 75 staff, a mix of both Danish and other nationalities. Our office is conveniently located in the center of Copenhagen.
