About the position
Do you enjoy bringing theory, innovation and ergonomics into practice? Would you like to shape the future and contribute to improve the ergonomic conditions among production employees in the wind industry?
For our Siemens Gamesa blade production plant in Aalborg, Denmark, we are looking for a motivated professional that has a passion for health and safety with operational experience and expertise in improving ergonomics. Our Blade production is highly founded on manual processes. Which enable you to use your expertise in driving improvement of the ergonomic impact on our employees while at the same time ensuring excellent productivity.
It is our company strategy to be frontrunners in ergonomics and it is agreed by top management to emphasize and strengthen this area - so if you are up for a professional challenge, there is a full management and HSE team supporting you towards the target of ensuring health and well-being for our production workers.
In addition, you are going to be involved in new product development to ensure HSE aspects are fulfilled and that we constantly improve our performance.
What are my responsibilities?
- Facilitating and conducting ergonomic assessments.
- Drive improvement projects.
- Ensure that we are frontrunners in relation to ergonomic management.
- You will function as key role in new product development.
- Lead investigation of accidents and communicate lesson learned.
- Reviewing and approving corrective actions and ensure they are implemented properly.
- Ensure operations are conducted in compliance with legislation and raise potential issues.
- Primary work time is day shift but support to other shifts is required.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- You have the passion to proactively drive a high-level safety culture.
- You have a relevant academic background and +3 years of experience from similar position.
- Preferably, you hold professional experience with ergonomic and technical safety.
- You must possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to manage and develop relationships with employees.
- You are a team player and able to proficiently communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
- As a person you are proactive with strong analytical skills, and you have an open-minded approach to people and new ways of thinking.
- You have a basic knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
