Would you like to ensure a high quality of our HSE culture and solutions when we construct wind farms? Join us as soon as possible as HSE Site Manager in our busy HSE function and help us execute wind projects in Northern Europe. You will play an important role when you participate in the decision-making process deciding how to handle HSE matters on our construction sites in cooperation with the Site Manager and Project HSE Manager. You will be a member of our HSE team with colleagues based in Denmark, the United Kingdom and Germany. Together with your colleagues in the team, you will be responsible for maintaining a constant focus on all site HSE matters during the analysis and execution phases. You will also help us to have a safety culture and to ensure that projects and sites comply with the current conditions, rules and legislation regarding environment and working environment. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of five business units in DONG Energy. For more than 20 years, Wind Power has been working actively in the offshore wind industry, and as a result of this, we now have unique knowledge within this field. We use our know-how in all phases of our offshore wind turbine projects - from the early development phase, through the constructing phase to operation and maintenance. Safety is a focus area in everything we do. We have a strong market position, and we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either in one of our Danish offices in Fredericia near Skærbæk or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or alternatively in our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. You should expect travelling and stays on sites in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Initially, you will be working on one of our German offshore wind projects. Areas of responsibility As HSE Site Manager, you will ensure that all HSE information is communicated efficiently to all relevant partners. Your direct reference is the Site Manager. On site, you will be the responsible for managing the HSE team. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating HSE activities with contractors and proactively follow up on the contractors' performance. You will carry out audits and inspect contractors' work ensuring that their work meets standards and complies with the procedures laid down. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: perform site plan review and prepare and recommend safety set-up ensure that all work on site complies with safety rules and regulations chair safety committee meetings and bi-weekly safety meetings follow up on incidents and contribute to monthly HSE reporting participate in construction meetings and in weekly tool box talks. Your profile You have a relevant technical education, for example a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, combined with extensive experience with HSE site management in relation to construction projects. It is essential that you have strong communication skills and are able to cooperate effectively and across professional disciplines with colleagues and business partners, both in Germany and abroad. As we operate in an international environment, it is important that you speak and write English fluently and preferably also German. Moreover, you will thrive on working in a constantly changing and international environment.
