The section consists of highly skilled HSSE professionals committed to safeguarding our prime goal – Zero Incidents! As maternity cover for one of our HSSE Advisors you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of our HSSE strategies, systems, processes and people. You will be a corporate advisor on health and safety for other HQ departments as well as the global organisation. You will support the global organization in meeting the corporate health and safety objectives and on the processes and tools relating to health and safety. Key Responsibilities As HSSE Advisor maternity cover you will be part of the Health & Safety team which manage a large variety of tasks covering everything from strategic development, H&S processes, system development and implementation, campaigns, training materials, etc. As an HSSE Advisor you will be responsible for parts of these processes and systems, and you will run projects to develop new, or improve existing systems. Your key responsibility will be to provide daily support to the Deep Water Asset Team and the local HSSE functions. Who we are looking for Your educational background is secondary to your experience from a similar position within an international environment – preferably the drilling industry. You are proficient in HSSE management systems and you have good knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to safety in offshore drilling activities and onshore management and work activities. You are a strong self-starter with drive, initiative, result-orientation and commitment to excellence. You welcome a global work life and thrive in our international environment. Multi-cultural teamwork demands a high level of English proficiency as well as extensive interpersonal and communication skills.
