About the department You get the opportunity to join an expanding, international, high performing department in Bagsværd, Denmark, responsible for the inbound supply chain or direct spend materials in Novo Nordisk A/S and a part of the central Supply Chain Management organisation. We are approximately 50 employees divided in 3 teams, who ensure reliable supply of quality products (raw- and packaging materials) in regulatory compliance at a competitive cost to Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally. The position You will primarily support the supply chain projects across the department with different project management tasks. In this role you will work closely with the project managers and project members, support with various data, analysis and assists in workshop planning, execution and follow-up to ensure the projects are executed in a smooth and successful way. Further, you will also drive own projects and ad hoc analysis to support our department Internship Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months. Start date: 1 September 2016. Qualifications We envision an intern who is passionate about inbound supply chain management and maybe is seeking a career within this field. You are currently studying on your master’s degree within supply chain management, engineering or other relevant field. General knowledge of the project management disciplines is preferred. Fluency in both oral and written English, ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision), sound personal judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills are required. You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. You must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. You communicate effectively, meet deadlines and approach tasks in a structured way. You have a strong analytical mindset, both in terms of data and processes. Finally, you are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners.
