Do you have experience with Management Information? Join the Finance Processes & Information department in Corporate Finance You will join Finance Processes & Information (FPI) department of 32 colleagues. FPI is responsible for developing and maintaining efficient standardised finance processes, and establishing simple and solid finance information models to create transparency in reporting which leads to an increased trust in data used for decision making. We are a team of 6 colleagues working with 13 BW solutions in Finance and you will be responsible for some of them with key focus on Account Payable and Material Movement solutions. As our new Information Specialist, you can look forward to developing a holistic approach to finance reporting solutions and the opportunity to learn about our global value chain, processes and other business functions. Build, standardise and innovate our financial reporting solutions Being responsible for defining simple and relevant finance information solutions, you gather financial reporting requirements and coordinate with IT to secure that our BI solutions support the needs of finance reporting. This includes identifying the lay out, where the report data should derive from and building the actual reports. In doing so, you establish and use standardised platforms, definitions and reporting hierarchies in order to ensure that the information provided fits with the global standards for information management. This includes responsibility for embedding BI governance principles within Finance area. Furthermore, you participate in various projects on behalf of the Finance organisation to help us see how BI can improve Finance processes. Apart from delivering organisational support within solutions and keeping standard reports updated within the Finance BI information area, you support relevant business area in getting the best and most out of current solutions and tools and seek new opportunities to provide information that best support the business processes and act as a driver for best practice sharing. To a smaller extent, you will facilitate training of Finance colleagues who use BI for reporting purposes which involves interaction with a growing number of users. You will be travelling up to 20 day per year in order to meet this business need. Management Information Specialist that secures ownership in the business You probably either hold a master degree or a Graduate Diploma within Engineering or Economics and Business Administration. For the past 3+ years, you have been employed within management information, preferably in a Finance department - e.g. as a Business Analyst, Controller or Process Consultant - ideally in a consumer goods industry (production, wholesale and retail). You have a track record of acting as an engagement point between Business and the IT organisation and you are skilled in translating business requirements into business intelligence solutions. Knowledge of BI reporting tools is an advantage as is knowledge about SAP and BW, and experience in training/teaching is another plus. You speak and write English fluently. You are outspoken and a good communicator who easily explains matters, just as you deal with people in a respectful though in a firm way. On top or your strong solution/result orientation, you are proactive and enthusiastic which - paired with your passion for technology and IT - makes you think in improvement and optimisations incessantly.
