About the position:
In Offshore Logistics, we are looking for a quality and detail oriented Internal Customer Supporter to join the team. The team consists of three dedicated employees, who all contribute to an efficient supply of logistics equipment and material to all Offshore wind turbine projects run by Siemens Gamesa.
The Internal Customer Support team is part of Material Management, placed in the outbound logistics organization in Offshore. Overall, Material Management ensures storage, distribution and maintenance of all the equipment rented out to the various projects. This includes monitoring the availability of items, expediting sources, managing the material and equipment orders as well as optimizing the material flow on an on-going basis.
In this role, you will be contributing to be the best in the industry ensuring end-to-end outbound logistics performance resulting in an optimized impact on the bottom line of the specific projects.
What are my responsibilities?
- You will be the single point of contact for our internal customers
- Creating Equipment lists for ordering of transport and installation equipment according to contract and wind turbine installation plans
- Monitoring the installation plan and deadlines in order to ensure on time delivery
- Supporting our internal customers on documentation, such as lifting instructions
- Maintaining TCC to provide the best possible setup for the projects
- Contributing to the development of internal processes within Equipment Management
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Preferably, you hold a degree in, or experience with, Engineering, Project Management or technical skills and you have a good level of technical affinity and logistical understanding
- You have experience from the construction or Offshore industry
- Technical experience with transport and lifting methods is highly desired and will be perceived as an advantage
- Technical experience with/knowledge of reading technical drawings
- You are an experience user of Microsoft Office programs, with excel as the main program and furthermore SAP
- You are a dedicated team player, and you are able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks, both short term and long term
- As a person, you are outgoing and proactive, and you possess strong organizational, coordination and communication skills
- You possess profound English skills, both orally and in writing.
