For our Global Operations department in Siemens Wind Power Service, we are looking for an analytical and structured Internal Project Manager to take the lead in improving our service operations processes. What are my responsibilities? As an Internal Project Manager you will be leading internal projects for improving forecasting, planning, resource management reporting, and administration processes. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover: · Analyzing and identifying potential improvement areas within the above mentioned areas · New and further development of processes and tools to improve our service operations (in close collaboration with the regional business units, our IT organization and other relevant stakeholders). · Implementation of planning and forecasting models for managing the site resources, (on- and offshore). · Reporting on the use of resources in our service operations. · To some extent be involved in the administration / dispatching of resources in our service operations. · Ensuring knowledge sharing and use of best practice across regional units What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a degree in business engineering or business administration and profound knowledge of forecasting, planning, resource management, reporting, and administration processes as well as relevant IT solutions, combined with at least 5 years of practical experience in project management and roll-out of changes within the field of manufacturing, logistics, or construction. You have an understanding of lean methodologies and you are comfortable applying them in your work. Experience in the wind energy business will be deemed an advantage. · As a person, you have an analytical and structured mindset as well as a result- and quality-oriented approach to your work. Furthermore, you are a dedicated team player with strong problem solving and leadership skills. You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an experienced user of MS Office applications, SAP (preferably MRS) and Primavera/MS Project. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
