About the position

For our training department within Technology & Standards we are looking for a Project Manager, preferably with experience in workforce training programs related to new plant startups and/or industrial engineering in wind turbine productions.

You will join a team responsible for the training framework covering wind turbine factories. Here you will work together with a global team of talented Project Managers, Engineers and Trainers to support smooth transitions from prototyping to global manufacturing in series production.

In this role you will collaborate cross-functional with a large network of contributors and stakeholders. You will take on a demanding role that requires you to move from technical problem-solving to practical training solutions in both small and large scale on our plants across the globe. You must have technical flair and be able to integrate this into our competence management projects.

What are my responsibilities?

• Deliver training plans including budgets to our global project teams to support outlined ramp-up plans and learning curves for new products or new plants
• Aid in the technology transfers of new products, processes and equipment to new or existing facilities. Assist in planning of the training related to these transfers
• Support best practice sharing across plants and product portfolio and be an important driver in improving our knowledge sharing and general capability as a learning organization
• Have the strategic overview for process development and roadmaps related to technology transfers and plant ramp-up support
• Collaborate cross-functional with Managers, Process Engineers, Business Controllers, Project Managers and other functions

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You hold a degree in either mechanical engineering, learning management, project management, manufacturing technology or you have relevant Project Manager experience and are familiar with designing training programs for large industrial organizations and have solid international planning experience from supporting plant ramp-ups
• You possess excellent English skills both oral and written
• You are an advanced user of Microsoft Office applications
• You have trained and experienced in the use of lean manufacturing tools and methods

What else is expected?

• If you do not have experience from our production, you must prepare yourself for a steep learning curve as you are expected to gain detailed knowledge of most manufacturing processes used in our production
• You must be able to shift from operational to strategic perspective frequently and show attention to detail without missing strategic overview
• You are an excellent team player and thrive in collaborate efforts in an international environment
• As a Project Manager you can demonstrate a track record of successful time- and resource management in previous projects
• After successful onboarding and on-the-job-training you must be prepared for short duration business travel during project executions
• The right candidate will be offered the opportunity to act as Team Manager if high leadership potential is shown
