The Carlsberg Graduate program is a stepping-stone for young talents with Commercial background who are looking for an ambitious career with international possibilities.

One program - 2 tracks

The Carlsberg Graduate Program is a two-year program consisting of rotations in different positions across functions and business units in order to ensure a steep learning curve and exposure to new challenges.

International Commercial Graduate Track

Based in Copenhagen the program takes the graduate through both marketing and sales roles across different functions, business units and sales channels. This track can be done within either Group Commercial or Export, License and Urban Development. Both located in the Carlsberg HQ. Rotations can differ for the two different departments and could in some cases be done in one of our markets outside Denmark.

Rotations can be within;

Marketing rotation. In the marketing rotation, you will be supporting the development of brand strategies and plans for how to develop and win new markets and consumers. Ensure implementation in the local markets and follow up on results.

Enabler rotation. In this rotation, you will be assigned to one of the enabling teams, which includes Digital Marketing, Sales Excellence, Commercial Insights, and Value Management. The purpose is to gain understanding of how enablers work as an integrated part of executing a strategy.

Commercial rotation. In the commercial rotation you will be supporting the sales function in developing current and new business opportunities in the local markets, meeting with customers and partners in order to grow profit and brand equity.

Project rotation. Responsible for implementing a specific project locally or supporting a local company with implementing the market or brand strategies and plans. This rotation is developed together with the graduate depending on actual projects and possibilities in the local markets.

You are a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, with an ability to influence and excite internal and external stakeholders and secure buy in to concepts and program. Even when things get tough, you stay positive, proactive and innovative. You are flexible, service minded and can adjust to the situation and the requirements. All of this you combine with a team spirit and focus on succeeding together with others.

• Strong business acumen and pragmatic approach to resolving issues

Personal skills and qualifications

• Education - Master’s Degree or equivalent within marketing, international business, sales English (fluent) is a must. Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic would be a strong asset for the international tracks
• International experience strongly preferred

Some travel must be expected during the international graduate program.

If you succeed in the screening interview, you will be invited to the one of the Carlsberg Graduate Days, which will be held on the 6th and 7th February 2019.
