- Human Resources - Denmark - Kalundborg We are looking for an experienced international HR director for our business area Diabetes Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (DAPI) in Novo Nordisk. The position is located at our production site in Kalundborg in Denmark, the largest insulin manufacturing site in the world, more than 50% of the world’s insulin is produced here. About the department DAPI is a manufacturing organisation with around 1,800 employees located in Kalundborg, Denmark. It is expected that the organisation in the course of the next years will become more international. The HR department in DAPI consists of 22 employees including HR partners, a training team and a communication team. Together with your department of highly engaged employees, you will work on implementing best practice HR and communication processes across DAPI and the rest of our supply chain. The job The job is two-folded. You will be the HR Director for the DAPI organisation where you will head up the DAPI HR department, ensuring success of the business area and its people. You will also be the HR Business Partner for the Senior Vice President (SVP) of DAPI, in this role you will provide sparring and advice to the SVP and his reports. You will be part of the management team in DAPI where you will proactively identify and drive initiatives needed to support the business in achieving its goals. DAPI and the rest of our supply chain have high focus on quality, LEAN production, leadership development and competence management, and you will be responsible for driving and supporting activities within these areas. You will also be responsible for driving and optimising HR processes within performance management, training, employee engagement and together with other units ensure that line management is supported on day-to-day HR activities. Furthermore you will have a key role in the further internationalisation of DAPI. You will have a double reporting line to both the SVP of DAPI and to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of People & Organisation in Product Supply. You will be working in an environment recognised by ambitious targets, high standards and energizing relations. Qualifications You have a strong international HR and leadership background with several years of successful experience from working as an HR Director/Manager, HR Business Partner or development consultant. You have extended experience from working in large international corporations. You master a broad range of HR and management disciplines and you are comfortable both when developing strategic HR initiatives requiring conceptual skills as well as implementing operational HR solutions. You have a strong track record within leadership development, you are an experienced coach and you are able to influence managers and leaders at all levels. You hold a relevant academic background and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. As a person you are out-going with a strong personal drive. You enjoy working cross functionally and are motivated by the close collaboration with line of business. You have integrity and empathy and are able to challenge and influence decisions before they are made. Personal competencies such as analytical skills, strong project management and change management skills, as well as excellent communication and facilitation competencies are keys to succeed in the job.
