Ranum School College is looking for teachers who can teach in International Maths within the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. A further interest in teaching one of our more than 50 profile and cultural subjects would also be fantastic attribute for applicants.It would be most desirable for applicants to be a qualified teacher (PGCE or equivalent) and has experience teaching within an international curriculum. Applicants who are able to teach in only one of the subjects, as well as applicants who are seeking part-time work are also welcome to apply. We are an academic and international boarding school with 430 pupils and 53 teachers. The environment at the school is very international and we have colleagues and students from all around the world. The school is divided into 10 classes (subject depending) in the 9th and 10th grades and 6 classes of Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level students, who taught exclusively in English.The school year is divided into three periods in which a profile subject or cultural subject is studied. Students and employees work cooperatively to set common goals within each of these periods depending on the subject content. Each period is then concluded with a journey to a location that relates to the subject.We travel for up to 28 days per academic year to locations all over the world.We are a large boarding school that offers opportunities for both professional and personal development around the world for both students and staff. The school is structured in a way that strives to create a diverse and democratic environment, encouraging independence yet respect and understanding for our community.We have excellent facilities and a world cuisine with a focus on healthy eating.
