World-class hearing solutions Our Product Management team in Power and Paediatrics consists of specialists dedicated to bringing hearing solutions to the market, that enhance the quality of life of both children and adults with severe hearing loss. The team works as part of Global Sales & Marketing closely with both markets and as an important part of the matrix organisation with R&D and Operations in, delivering customer and user insights and requirements in order to ensure the products are correctly featured and specified. Furthermore, the team is responsible for optimising the full product life cycle along with support and training input. The Role You will be responsible of making specific product briefs based on our road map plans and be one of the key individuals from a business perspective that shapes our new products. As a key player in the project team, you will be responsible for optimising our product competitiveness balanced with opportunity costs. This will include displaying both strong leadership and efficient execution in the product development process, marketing campaign development process and roll out phases. You will be involved in and work on the following: Both executing and leading at both tactical and operation levels and supply input to business strategies Ensuring that the necessary and relevant insights about competitors, market needs and trends are gathered and channeled to the development program in order to optimize both the product’s business potential understanding user and customer needs, and securing these requirements are reflected in new products Based on the analyses of market needs, define the detailed product characteristics and value proposition, acting as a trustworthy ambassador on behalf of both customers and end-users. In collaboration with our international sales companies, bring products from development and production to the market. Present and represent the products when preparing and participating in national launches. Entire product to market process and full product marketing package deliveries Lead the planning of clinical documentation needs As part of developing product strategies, provide initial product concept input Product positioning and key messages Delivery of content and final material to ensure availability at agreed milestones. These include technical data and description of new features Providing input to campaign and communication deliverables and participate in review process Providing documentation of inputs and activities for quality purposes, including FDA Product lifecycle management, product support and maintenance Your background and experience You probably have a degree in business at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level. In addition, you have experience in a Product Manager role, preferably from a technical industry with B2B focus, e.g. hearing, medical device or the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in managing the interface with R&D teams is considered an asset. Commercial focus and being market driven are characteristics that resonates with you, as is thriving in a position with numerous stakeholders. Additionally, as large aspects of the job include keeping documentation up to date and track of deliverables, you work in a highly structured and detail orientated way. Although creativity and vision is part of the job description, the role speaks more to the pragmatic person with great coordination and project management skills.
