We Offer As the International Tax Manager in Maersk Oil you will be engaged in a multitude of tasks related to the global management of Maersk Oil’s fiscal profile. You are based in Maersk Oil’s headquarters Copenhagen, as part of a small and highly skilled team managing Maersk Oil’s taxes world wide. There will be flexibility to define the boundaries of your responsibilities. The international tax manager reports to the Maersk Oil’s global head of tax and treasury. Key Responsibilities The main responsibilities in the international tax manager position will be: • Monitor correct application of fiscal legislation across Maersk Oil’s global organisation • Manage fiscal implications in a variety of cross-border transactions • Handle external communication with public authorities, partners and other stakeholders • Lead functional work streams in projects with tax implications • Lead Maersk Oil’s tax intelligence and maintain updated information on the relevant tax legislation • Fiscal analysis, monitoring, benchmarking and management reporting • Be headquarters focal point and coordinator regarding fiscal matters related to a number of Who we are looking for The preferred candidate will have an education background in Law, Tax Audit, Accountancy or the like. You must have +6 years of solid experience in tax advisory and/or tax management earned in an in-house tax position, tax authorities or a leading accounting- or law firm. Practical experience with outbound international taxation and transactional tax management within M&A, investments, reorganisations etc. is important to be a success in this role. You are an energetic and internationally oriented tax professional, who will quickly understand the underlying value drivers of our business and enjoy working in a busy international environment. You also enjoy the challenges of building strong relations and networks within the organization and with Maersk Oil’s partners and other external stakeholders.
