About the department Clinical Operations, Insulin, Growth Hormone & Devices works with products developed for the treatment of diabetes, growth hormone disorders and with medical devices. Our main tasks include planning, execution and finalisation of clinical trials and usability tests. We are 60 dedicated colleagues, comprised of primarily International Trial Managers and Clinical Trial Associates divided into four departments. Our organisation is project-centric and internally we work in cross-functional teams typically including medical science, data management and statistics. Our key external stakeholders are colleagues from affiliates, investigators and Clinical Research Organisations. The job As International Trial Manager you act as a project manager with the responsibility to plan, coordinate and manage clinical trial activities from preparation of the study protocol to reporting. You will develop relevant trial documents, including recruitment strategies, communication plans and trial budgets. You will be part of a trial related international study group responsible for planning and conducting team meetings. You will cooperate closely with a variety of colleagues across the Novo Nordisk A/S organisation and across skill areas. In addition you will be part of the preparation and conduct of Investigator and Monitors meetings prior to trial start. Qualifications You have a relevant educational background, preferably as M.Sc. within Natural Science or equivalent. In addition, you have worked with trial management for a minimum of 2-3 years within the pharmaceutical industry. You have a broad knowledge of clinical trial methodology and experience from working in a project organisation. You need to have a strong quality mind-set and excellent cross cultural awareness. Naturally, you are a dedicated team-player and able to work with multiple and frequently changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Last, but not least the jobs require proficiency in English, excellent communication, coordination and planning skills.
