About the department The assurance and general management of quality have always played a key role in our success. A large part of our business and a huge number of processes are devoted to ensuring that our product specifications stay within very narrowly defined limits. Quality is created and maintained in every link of the production chain and in domains ranging from the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients to the transportation or storage of medical devices and packing material. Our department is devoted to the handling of quality management systems. As our new intern you will spend your day with nine dedicated colleagues at our facilities in Bagsvaerd. Together, we are responsible for quality management processes such as incident handling, ensuring the relevant measures of corrective and preventive actions and preparation for audits and inspections. The team values professional sparring and you can look forward to entering into an energetic and positive working environment where cooperation is a keyword. The position You will become well acquainted with some of our key activities – you will be working on optimizing quality processes such as control with changes or preventive measures and you will familiarise yourself with all the many special requirements of regulated production. A large part of your work will be focused around documentation in Quality Management Systems, as you will help us ensure that everything we do can be approved and certified without delays. You will be responsible for driving a project - to a large extent we will accommodate your interests and abilities and find just the right match between you, the focus of the project and the expected outcome. You will be a natural part of the department from the first day, helping us to deal with some of the tasks that need to be done on an every-day basis. Some of the projects currently under way in our department will need your help as well – producing documentation, communicating with stakeholders and gathering data and information. You will be assigned your own personal mentor, who will help you not only find your way around the department and your tasks, but also educate you in the processes and framework of a regulated industry like ours. The internship is an excellent position to begin a career within quality management from. Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship is a full-time position for 4-6 months. Start date: August 1 2016. Qualifications To qualify for the internship, you need to be in your first or second year of your master studies. You may be studying within the Health and Medical Sciences or an entirely different field – most importantly, you share our passion for quality management and are keen to acquire professional tools and learn the tricks of the trade. You are well-organised, independent and have a good analytical sense, and we expect you to have a certain flair for systems and process optimization. You are ambitious and ready to be part of our ongoing effort to improve our high standards, including ensuring that new ways of working are implemented smoothly. You are a responsible, outgoing person with strong work ethics, and you are attracted by the opportunity to use your quality management skills in the ever changing working environment of a highly complex site. If you know your way around regulated production and GMP requirements, or if you have experience with LEAN processes, it will be a great advantage.
