About the Department Diabetes Finished Products is responsible for formulation, filling, inspection, assembly and packaging of insulin products with production sites in China, Brazil, USA, France and Denmark. The DFP Strategy & Planning department is part of DFP Business Support delivering support to the global network. The department is responsible for driving the short, mid and long term strategy of Diabetes Finished Products, creating transparency of global production performance, initiating optimization projects and sets direction for the +5.000 employees in DFP. The department is furthermore in close collaboration with stakeholders in Product Supply and Diabetes Finished Products, responsible for driving the capacity planning processes - optimizing cost and delivery. The Job As a part of the DFP Strategy & Planning department, the Logistic Support Team, consisting of 7 specialists, is primarily supporting the operational Logistic Planning departments on the three DFP sites in Denmark (Hillerød, Bagsværd and Kalundborg) but also supporting other departments in the supply chain. We drive process improvements in projects or tasks, KPI-development and maintenance, SAP Support, Compliance Support within Logistics and performs many sorts of logistic analyses. You will be involved in day-to-day business processes and tasks within the department. The work will consist of a high degree of stakeholder interaction. In addition you will assist the various project managers (maybe drive your own projects), including analysis, gathering data, prepare presentations and ad-hoc tasks requested by the management. Qualifications We are looking for an intern, who is passionate about initiating and driving continuous improvements in an international supply chain. You are analytical, have visibility, are structured and comfortable with managing your own time and deliverables. As a person you are outgoing with strong personal drive and dedication. You have a deep interest in Logistic processes supporting a manufacturing environment. You have a professional and personal impact that is reflected in your result-oriented way of dealing with tasks and you have a desire to make a true difference. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. LEAN knowledge is a benefit but not a pre-requisite. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. Practicalities Requirement: You are currently studying on your master’s degree in engineering or business in your first or second year of the master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.
