About the department Diabetes Finished Products is responsible for formulation, filling, inspection, assembly and packaging of insulin and GLP-1 products with production sites in China, Brazil, USA, France and Denmark. The DFP Strategy & Planning department is part of DFP Business Support delivering support to the global network. The department is responsible for driving the short, mid and long term strategy of Diabetes Finished Products. Creating transparency of global production performance, initiating optimization projects and set direction for the +5.000 employees. The department is furthermore in close collaboration with stakeholders in Product Supply and Diabetes Finished Products, responsible for driving the capacity planning processes - optimizing cost and delivery. The job You get the opportunity to join an international, high performing department, which consist of around 40 people. You will work in the Strategy team together with 2-3 other people. You will get the opportunity to be part of the short & long term strategy process, being main driver of the communication process towards a lot of different stakeholders. In addition you will be contributing to develop our processes around all our communication in the department. You will be involved in day-to-day business processes and tasks within the department. The work will consist of a high degree of stakeholder interaction around our weekly management meetings. You will be responsible for the creative and innovative part of the meetings bringing the communication to a new and more innovative level. In addition you will assist the various project managers (maybe drive your own projects), including analysis, prepare presentations and ad-hoc tasks requested by the VP-management. Qualifications We are looking for an intern, who is passionate about initiating and driving innovative improvements in an international supply chain context. You have visibility, are structured and comfortable managing your own time and deliverables. As a person you are outgoing with strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to make a true difference. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. You have an innovative and creative mind-set since we provide innovation to the benefit of our stakeholders. To optimise our communication and processes means a lot to us. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in business / communication. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. Practicalities Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.
