About the department Diabetes Finished Products is responsible for formulation, filling, inspection, assembly and packaging of insulin and GLP-1 products with production sites in China, Brazil, USA, France and Denmark. The DFP Strategy & Planning department is part of DFP Business Support delivering support to the global network. The department is responsible for driving the short, mid and long term strategy of Diabetes Finished Products. Creating transparency of global production performance, initiating optimization projects and set direction for the +5.000 employees in DFP. The department is furthermore in close collaboration with stakeholders in Product Supply and Diabetes Finished Products, responsible for driving the capacity planning processes - optimizing cost and delivery. The position You get the opportunity to join an international, high performing team, where 5 colleagues look forward to welcoming you. You will be play a core role delivering performance management service to the department. You will get the opportunity to continue developing our performance management reporting, driving the organization in the right direction. You will be involved in day-to-day business processes and tasks within the department. In addition you will assist the various project managers, including analysis, gathering data, prepare presentations and ad-hoc tasks requested by the VP-management. Internship Period : The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months. Start date: 1 August 2016. Qualifications We are looking for an intern, who is passionate about initiating and driving continuous improvements in an international supply chain context. You are analytical, structured and comfortable managing your own time and deliverables. As a person you are outgoing with strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to making a true difference and result-oriented. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. LEAN knowledge is a benefit but not a pre-requisite. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in engineering or business. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
