About the department You will get an opportunity to join an international department with a high diversity of tasks within Novo Nordisk A/S. In the Device & Supply Chain Management unit our primary target is to supply raw materials for drug manufacture and components for manufacture of our injection systems. Our operation is global and involves many suppliers. In our department we strive to improve the quality of our business and quality performance in collaboration with stakeholders across the value chain. We are responsible for driving the Quality Management Review process, Business processes, Inspection & Audit handling and cross-organisational projects at management level. The job You will get the opportunity to join a high performing and dedicated department that is really looking forward to meeting you and introducing you to a part of Novo Nordisk A/S. You will be involved in day-to-day business processes and tasks within the department. The work will include a high degree of stakeholder interaction. In your role you will among others participate in the Quality Management Review process, creating the 2016 Performance targets, process optimisation and ad-hoc analyses and tasks requested by management. You will also get insight into the long term strategic planning on a cross-organisational level. Qualifications We are looking for an intern who is passionate about initiating and driving continuous improvements in an international supply chain context. You are analytical, structured, comfortable managing your own time, and have visibility. Most of all you are eager to contribute, learn and share your knowledge and ideas. You are fluent in English (both written and oral) and with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge about Share point is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite. As a person you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have a professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to make a true difference. You bring a can-do attitude and are result-oriented. In addition; you are ambitious and like to be challenged. Practicalities Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months. Start date: 1 July 2015.
