For our R&D Generator Department we are looking for a talented intern. As an intern in the R&D Generator Department you will be a part of a multi-skilled team, covering competences within mechanical design (CAD), mechanical calculation (FEM), bearing design, cooling design, test & validation, electro-magnetic design and control. What are my responsibilities? · Analyzing direct wind turbine measurements such as loads, power, strains, displacements and temperatures · Making an assessment of the life-time of the wind turbine generator components based on measurement results · Presenting suggestions for the improvement of numerical models and implementing them What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are enrolled in a Master program of mechanical engineering · You are familiar with MatLab and the finite element method (ANSYS workbench and APDL are a plus) · You have a structured and organized approach to your tasks and like to work in a team · You thrive in a multi-cultural environment · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
