Haldor Topsoe has taken the major decision to onboard a financial partner (a minority owner), which will significantly increase our investment potential in relation to both organic and inorganic growth initiatives. Corporate Finance is a pivotal department in this journey, driving and supporting the analysis of investment opportunities within our existing business areas as well as into new areas.

Corporate Finance, reporting directly to the CFO, aims to strengthen the efforts in data transparency and data-driven decisions. Further, we provide investment and risk analysis in a number of areas, ensuring availability of a strong decision base.

You will be responsible for continuing and enhancing the corporate-driven capital allocation process. You will support and advise executive management on investment decisions and risk management, and make financial models and calculations relating to investment decisions across Haldor Topsoe globally. You will ensure that all investments are based on uniform analysis and decision criteria. Additionally, you will be managing the global enterprise risk management process, providing quarterly updates to our executive management and the board.

You will work from our headquarters in Kgs. Lyngby in close collaboration with colleagues both in Denmark and globally. Not only will you gain a deep insight into our global business, you will also build a strong network to be able to influence and set the direction for how we make investment decisions and how we manage risks.

You will:

• Drive the corporate capital allocation process,
• Maintain an overview of current and future investment program including internal investment reporting,
• Support strategic and corporate projects with your strong analytical toolbox,
• Make financial calculations relating to investment decisions across Haldor Topsoe globally, and participate in making investment proposals for executive management and board approval,
• Follow up on investments made and compare decision base to actual performance,
• Perform company valuation related to acquisition activities,
• Manage quarterly enterprise risk management processes based on interaction with relevant stakeholders across the organization,
• Provide support to our global business planning and performance management processes.

Qualifications:
You have a master’s level education in Business/Economics and ideally 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably within capital investment analysis or financial business partnering in a CAPEX-heavy organization.
In addition, you also have:

• A comprehensive investment and analytical toolbox.
• Ability to understand and integrate strategic, operational and financial aspects of any given project or strategic issue.
• Experience from an international working environment.
• Fluency in English, written as well as spoken.
