We are looking for a person who is passionate about IT and is eager to provide the best possible service to our organization. As our local IT Administrator you will join our global IT Helpdesk Team. About the Role This position provides daily desktop hardware and standard operating system support and telephone system support services to company users through visits, phone calls and remote access. It also includes installing PCs and desktop applications on a daily basis (including system and application upgrades) and some support of servers and application administration as assigned. You will support users on issues and troubleshoot support requests through the global helpdesk ticketing system, to a timely and successful resolution. Furthermore you will handle day-to-day user administration on all Windows systems, enterprise applications and the telephone system. A part of the job is also to assist with the introduction of new employees in appropriate IT procedures and/or helping them get started with the applicable computerized systems. Professional Qualities • 1- 2 years Windows technical support and network experience. • Network systems administration experience in a corporate environment is an asset. • Significant knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. • Understand network protocols and methodologies and can support TCP/IP and Network Protocols in a Microsoft environment. • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours. • Knowledge of the following is a plus: MS Office Suite Applications, VMware, Active Directory, Domain Management, VPN, Understanding of LAN Structures, and Voice over IP Technologies. Personal Qualities: • Like to work independently and take responsibility. • Structured work approach. • Full professional proficiency in oral and written English. • Service-minded and positive attitude. • A team player within a global structure.
