The team

You will become part of an agile team of highly skilled cross-functional colleagues working on BESTSELLER's IT solutions within product development, sourcing and sustainability. We are a team of analysts and developers, each with insights about various aspects of our products, technologies and engineering practices.

Together, we always search for new ways of creating value, while continually improving our existing solutions. Our focus at the moment is to increase the digitalization of our product development solutions to contribute to accelerating the time to market of our products.

In BESTSELLER IT, the atmosphere is more like that of a start-up than an IT department with hundreds of colleagues. We have rapid decision processes, there is room for experimenting with new technologies, and we move fast from idea to execution.

The job

As IT Analyst you act as the liaison between the IT organisation and the users in the business with the purpose of ensuring that we provide solutions within the product development area that enable the business to achieve its goals. You analyse the business, its processes and the system needs, and translate the business requirements into solutions requirements and optimizations of business processes. Finally, you are responsible for the successful implementation of the solutions.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across all of BESTSELLER's brands to ensure that you understand the context and translate the business challenges into feasible solutions. At the same time, you keep an eye on ensuring that you grasp the opportunities for digitalization and take advantage of some of the most recent digital technologies.

More specifically, your tasks include:

Bridging the business and its needs with the IT organisation and the technical solution
Managing internal stakeholder expectations, evaluating risk, generating alternative routes and balancing priorities and service levels
Staying up-to-date on current business initiatives, technology trends and best practices with in the product development field
Ensuring clear definition of problem statement, business case and scope
Leading enhancements and minor projects
Supporting the business in the implementation and realization of solutions
Participate in team events as required per agile setup
Ensure efficient collaboration across teams, such as Enterprise Architects, Business Intelligence, etc.

As a natural part of the job, you can expect 10-25 annual travel days to visit stakeholders and collect inspiration.

You are an outgoing and independent person with a high professional drive. With your solid communication skills, you easily get your message across in a clear and respectful way, which enables you to build relations and communicate with colleagues across functions and organisational levels.

Enabled by your analytical mindset and understanding of business models, structures, processes and policies, you ensure that the systems and solutions support the business in the best way possible. You work in a structured and determined manner, and you always strive to exceed expectations and meet deadlines with a focus on quality.

Being part of a small, agile team, it comes natural to you to share your knowledge and to inspire and support your colleagues. You contribute constructively to team discussions, and you enjoy finding creative solutions to complex problems together.

Qualifications

Relevant academic degree, e.g. within supply chain, engineering, process or information technology
3-5 years of experience as business consultant or business analyst
Solid understanding and experience in working in an agile organization with autonomous teams
Experience working with complex challenges in a dynamic environment
Strong analytic skills and a solid understanding of business processes
Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
Fluent in written and spoken English - any Danish skills are considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
