We are 12 colleagues working across 7 locations around the world, and we function as the global driver of Data Management solutions and services in the company. We enable continuous improvement of data quality by delivering and pioneering Data Management solutions and services, securing effective business processes. You refer to Manager Michael Bendixen. ”We are an ambitious department and a dedicated, solid team working closely and collaborating actively across borders and time zones. The team is a good mix of people working on both an operational level as well as with complex technical solutions. Our level of ambition is high, and it gives you ample opportunity to continuously develop your MDM competencies,” Michael explains. What is the job about? As our new Application Consultant for MDM, your overall responsibility is to develop, implement and maintain MDM solutions based primarily on a range of SAP platforms in close cooperation with your colleagues across IT and the business. Thus, you drive further development and deployment of existing MDM solutions as well as develop and implement new MDM solutions. Another important part of your job is to deliver MDM expertise in various business and IT projects. Acting as our expert and sparring partner, you also carry out application training and support as well as prepare and handover technical areas to maintenance. Moreover, you are responsible for analysing and identifying potential improvement areas for master data, processes and tools as well as for providing consultancy, advice and best practice regarding MDM across the organisation. “In this position, it is very important that you are able to tie your extensive MDM expertise and skills with your solid understanding of the business value chain. In doing so, you collaborate with relevant partners across IT as well as business to deliver the right solutions, and if you perform well, you have excellent opportunities to move your career forward in Grundfos,” Michael says. What do you need to apply? You have a solid IT technical background and several years of experience working with complex MDM solutions in SAP in a global manufacturing company. This includes experience working with MDM, data integration and ETL, data quality and data lifecycle management in SAP. Furthermore, you have experience working with material, customer and vendor data across various SAP modules. You also possess knowledge of business value chains and processes as well as change management. It is important that you can conduct MDM consultancy across IT and business on all levels and are able to talk MDM IT Architecture (platforms and systems) with stakeholders across the organisation. You speak and write English fluently. “Strong MDM experience is what is most important to us. That combined with your business understanding enables you to offer solutions and consultancy that meets the needs of the business. It is also important to us that you have strong collaborative skills as well as a focus on delivering, a good sense of priorities and the ability to work systematically as well as independently to deliver the right solutions,” Michael finishes.
