Haldor Topsoe A/S is a busy international company and in consequence Corporate IT is also busy. We are therefore looking for an IT infrastructure specialist. IT Operations is in the process of establishing a global IT infrastructure in which our IT Infrastructure Department will play a central role. You will be directly responsible to the manager of IT Infrastructure and together with your colleagues in IT Operations you will be based at our office in Lyngby. Your area of responsibility will primarily be within operation and maintenance of Haldor Topsoe’s IT infrastructure with particular focus on Windows server, VMWare, SQL server, and the related infrastructure. You will also work together with our Shared Service Center in India. Your responsibilities - Manage, maintain, and support the corporate IT infrastructure on a day-to-day basis - Operate and maintain Windows, Citrix, VMware, and SQL servers, including log and performance surveillance - Participate in problem management of servers and related infrastructure - Ensure that IT security policies in relation to servers are met - Ensure that servers and infrastructure are continuously updated with the latest patches and security updates, and that virus protection comply with the guidelines for IT Operations - Be part of the infrastructure team in Haldor Topsoe’s IT Operations Department - Participate in development projects as an IT infrastructure specialist. You - Have good communication skills and can explain correlations within IT infrastructure across the organization - Are responsible and reliable - Are a team player and do not hesitate to lend a helping hand when things get busy - Work in a structured and team-oriented way, also when immediate action is necessary - Are quick and good at understanding structures and solutions - Are proactive and solution-oriented - Have a good sense of humor - Are willing to adapt and understand how to navigate in an organization in constant development - Are able to create solutions on a complex background. Qualifications You have a relevant technical education and more than five years of experience within an IT operations department, preferably international experience. Furthermore, you have more than five years of experience with server management and maintenance, including Windows, VMware, SQL, Citrix, preferably several distributed platforms. We expect you to possess a good understanding of network and TCP/IP, experience with IT information security, and to have knowledge of ITIL v3. It is important that you have change management experience and the ability to manage change initiatives.
