The position is a very good springboard for building competencies in order to continue your career in FLSmidth, e.g. within project management or technical management. The position is temporary for 12 months. Detailed Description Coordination and hands-on IT You are one member of a team of two colleagues, working at FLSmidth’s Headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen. Together, you ensure that computers – which run the automation software responsible for controlling FLSmidth plants – are configured, and supplied, in good time to be commissioned on our sites all over the world. Communication is a key component of this; stakeholders need to be kept informed so they can adjust their own timetables if necessary. Your primary tasks will be: · Procurement and invoice accounting of project IT equipment · Setup and configuration of project IT equipment · Packing of project IT equipment · Quality Assurance (QA) · Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual administration tasks · Support to business for ad hoc issues relating to project IT Since few projects are standard there are many variations and special requests what will make your workdays interesting. Suppliers change their equipment and specifications regularly, so keeping up to date with that is a must. Job Requirements Skills and technical interest You probably have a technically related education, with knowledge within IT. Your approach to your work is systematic. It is natural for you to take responsibility for your own tasks, ensuring all details are in place, within the agreed time frames. Related to this, you are able to think outside the box while solving problems. As you will be in contact with a great number of people internally and externally you must posses very good communication skills in English (written and spoken) and thrive on helping others.
