Job Description

Do you have the skills required to grasp and bridge strong business planning with the newest cloud solutions in S/4 Hana? Can you translate Danfoss’ business needs and concepts into concrete IT solutions for a capable team of skilled developers? Would you like to be responsible for coordinating data-, functional- and model-building experts within the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning team? Then we would be happy to welcome you onboard to plan and execute a smooth transition of 70+ factories in the Danfoss Group! 

Danfoss Group IT is looking for a skilled and curious Project Manager dedicated to the SIOP team, to join our digitalization journey. SIOP (Sales Inventory & Operations Planning) is changing the way the tactical planning tools are used to fulfill the gaps around BI and SAP. Danfoss is on the edge of integrating state-of-the-art cloud solutions for our business planning to S/4 HANA.

You will be part of a global team and work with latest IT technologies. In close contact with colleagues within the Danfoss Group IT and the Business Segments, you will have a chance to shape our future.

Areas of responsibility

  • Deliver strong project results to agreed scope, time and budget
  • Coordinate effectively with project team members and business stakeholders
  • Lead the integration between cloud and ERP in terms of business process, data and IT infrastructure
  • Lead the transition between legacy systems and to-be solutions
  • Anchor support process and team for to-be solutions

Part of your focus will be involved in our OneERP program which is based in Flensburg, Germany, why presence there will be required a few times per week. Mileage and accommodation will of course be covered by Danfoss.

The successful candidate for the position
You have strong and thorough experience with and understanding of Project Management within IT/SAP rollouts. You are capable of understanding the opportunities and challenges between cloud technologies and ERP platforms. More than this you have:

  • A strong understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound) and transition scenarios
  • Experience with business planning solutions (SIOP)

On a more personal note you are:

  • Excellent at solving problems and have well developed analytical skills
  • Result oriented, curious and independent
  • Motivated to work with a truly dynamic, multinational and highly professional team, with a can-do approach

Experience with working in an agile environment would be considered an advantage.
