For our SRE Contracts and Line Service department within the Siemens Real Estate (SRE) division we are looking for an IT Specialist for Brande, Denmark. The SRE Contracts and Line Service department is managing all contracted services within hard as well as soft FM. The team handles a diverse variety of expertise areas from security to the operation of our canteens, with special focus on strategic partnership with our suppliers, and operates in close cooperation with the SRE Location Management as well as business units within Siemens Denmark. What are my responsibilities? · Coordinating/leading all IT-related projects and tasks within SRE. · Designing and implementing system integrations with third party providers. · Providing second line support for IT-related issues within SRE. · Organizing and following up on maintenance operations on SRE servers. · Handling various tasks related to payment systems, access control and surveillance. · Providing best practices for IT processes, especially in regard to information security. · Acting as advisor on IT security matters within SRE and assisting the business during IT project planning. How do I qualify for the job? · You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a similar degree in Engineering. · You have knowledge of the infrastructure of servers and data storage/backup systems. · You have good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems as well as of the Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 suites. · You have strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing, and are skillful in communicating IT-related topics to non IT colleagues. · You are a team player with the ability to multitask. · You thrive in a multicultural environment and are not afraid of working under pressure, still maintaining a good spirit and a good sense of humor. · Preferably you have experience from working in a complex corporate group. Please note that you should expect approx. 15% travel days per year. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
