We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain architect to lead IT and business in transforming our Supply Chain to meet our Profitable Growth strategy. You will join Business Engagement, Solutions & Services which is part of Vestas’ global IT organisation, Global IT. We act as advisors to the business establishing and accelerating business strategy implementation and enable business development powered by IT. The department bridges business and IT by driving alignment of IT and business. Together with key stakeholders in business & IT we deliver roadmaps and solution designs to prepare and plan project execution. This position is in the PLM, Supply Chain and Manufacturing team. We are a strong team of 10 experienced IT architects. Our team act first point of contact for business regarding Product Development, Forecasting & Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, Spare Parts, Warehousing & Logistics and Production execution Responsibilities: You will engage across Vestas Value chain taking lead on application of IT to S&OP, production planning scenarios and logistics execution. Together with the Market and After Market Supply chain architects and our Centre of Expertise you will drive the integration of business and IT planning, managing and shaping demands. You will help prepare the world leader in wind for the growth opportunities on the horizon by securing high quality in all areas for our customers and turn on the lights for millions of people in a sustainable way. In the role as Senior Supply Chain Architect your responsibilities will be: Single point of reference for Senior Vice Presidents of business units within supply chain Plan and align business demands and IT enabling our strategy Lead optimal solution architecture in Supply Chain projects Inspire business on how to get value from IT Responsible for development and execution of the Supply Chain roadmap You will work on different projects such as consolidation of IT on SAP ECC and APO DP and supplier integration to support our integrated supply chain strategy covering improvement of S&OP, Production Planning & Scheduling. Competencies: You have an educational background as Product Engineer, MBA or Master of IT. You worked more than 10 years in a similar role as architect, consultant or advisor either in the wind industry, a similar industry or a consultancy. Through your work you gained extensive experience with bridge-building between IT and the business. Moreover, you have the following personal competencies Proven ability to manage and handle IT demands and stakeholder engagement Analytical, structured and open minded Strong communicator and decision maker Excellent interpersonal skills Additional information: Primary work location will be in Aarhus (DK).
